Hi all, I have been lurking, reading, learning and searching the forum for days now.
What a great place with great info.
I have not been able to find any info on the flashing ABS light. It flashes 7 times continuously. What does this code mean, and how do I reset the light?

It appears that I have an air leak in the fuel system as I have the classic start then die, then hard to start, and when it does start, it smokes for ten minutes+- then clears up.

The ABS light is controlled seperately from the engine. It has its own little computer which can be seen mounted on the side of the brake master cylinder under the hood.

I don't know what all the ABS codes are, but I can tell you that resetting the codes can be accomplished by either unhooking the battery for a while or unhooking the connectors at the ABS controller. I can also tell you that resetting the codes won't do much until you find out what set the code in the first place and fix it... If you don't, the light will come back on pretty quick. The other thing is that many times the failure is in the ABS controller itself and then you have to buy a replacement.

I definitely agree with your diagnosis of an air leak.
