Not sure if this is the correct place to post this but, opened my sunroof today and now can't get it to close. It move until it all the way forward but won't pull down. any ideas?

My 05 gasser is doing the same thing, The dealer sayed they will replace it but Im still waiting on them to get it in.
I didnt really ask what was up W/ it, but I will when I bring it back

p.s. mine is also leaking !!

There Is A Way Of Resetting It. I Think You Just Hold The Sunroof Button In The Open Position Until The Sunroof Recycles. I Think There Is A Tech Bullitin On It. The Only Reason I Know Is I Had The Same Problem With Mine.

Finally got it to close. Not sure what worked or what caused it. If anyone knows the bulletin, the info would be helpful for the future.

dlbrack, any more info after your dealer trip? Mine is still doing it. Opens fine, then on the close, it stops just before starting the pull down. It's very consistent where it stops but my pushing the close button several times, it will eventually pull down. Acts like some sort of position or exertion force sensor although I've not seen anything. Any body know anything about these things?

Mine did the same thing for about 2 weeks straight but not consistant. Took it to the dealer and they could not get it to do it. 3 months later and it has not happened again.

Kinda gettin the run around from the stealer, Advised me that I would be better off takeing it to another dealer they just didnt have the man power to fix it.
Were takeing it to a different dealer this afternoon for them too look at tomorrow.
