: Logging torque DMA PID

In an attempt to understand the defueling I logged the DMAX_TRQ_DMA PID. The logged data is just not making much sense to me. During driving the values differ a lot and are astronomically high even with 0% TP. On a shift they fall down to almost 0 TQ while pulling all fuel.....very slow shift.
What is causing the torque to drop that much?
My current understanding is:
The Base Torque defines the torque during a shift based on rpm and GM.Mainrate (limited to 80mm³ ??) while the torque limited injection quantity defines the mm³ to be injected.
Looking at the stock tables this raises the following question:
- why is the tq limited mm³ higher than the base tq table?

If needed, I can supply a log file to look at.

:help:, I really would like to know how to handle the defueling

Thanks,
Lennart

Just adjust up the base torque tables by about 1/2% at a time in the desired shift areas. Highlight the shift in the scan tool and then see where it is on the tuning map. Then adjust the corresponding cells in the base torque table. Small adjustments seem to make big differences.
