I just got a power lock for my tailgate but the instructions say to wire up to inside the driver's door. I have schematics for my old 2002 but they are probably different. Can anyone tell me if the lock/unlock signals are to be found anywhere in the fuse panels or wiring looms inside the truck?

You can find it in the drivers side fuse panel. Grey and tan IIRC. I'll have to go out and have a look and get back to you. I'll take some pics too. This will only work on crew cabs.

I just removed my handle to have it painted to match the rest of the black items I had painted.
