My 2001 silverado 'service 4wd' lt came on today.





I push 2wd in tries 4lo...I push 4wd in go into 2wd sometimes..


I read the TSBs and they should for an '01 to place the switch module #15709327 but i pulled the dash switch on my truck and it lists 15063844...is there an update or do I have something else messed up.?





I install the 15709327, wife got from the dealer. (It has the auto4x4 button)..my old one does not.


Can I use this one or will it cause me grief?

need the correct switch.chances are the switch is bad but gould be encoder or actuator...
