Does anyone have any suggestions on a good dealership near the panhandle? We are heading down there next week for a camping trip and will need the oil changed when we get there. Thanks.

I have heard good things about the dealer over in Ft Walton, Destin does not have one. Triangle up in Defuniak Springs is supposed to be good too. I think the Ft Walton dealer is called Preston Hood, but I may be mistaken.


I live in Panama City and just bought mine via phone from a dealer North of tallahassee, Griner Chevrolet. I highly reccomend them!

Pete moore chevrolet on navy BLVD is where I bought mine when I was living in pensacola. They have a pretty good service dept and they give you a rental from across the street if they have to order parts.

I'd second Pete Moore. They have a great service department, and they also specialize in used GM diesel vehicles, especially late model subs. I live on the West Coast and I flew all the way to Pensacola a few years ago to get a 99 diesel sub from them, sight unseen. They had actually under rated the vehicle and it was far better than stated. Really great dealership!

I'm in Pensacola and Pete Moore is the way to go. They have an excellent service department and they're very nice. Stay away from Sandy Sansing they are nothing but trouble.
