My 2001 silverado 'service 4wd' lt came on today.





I push 2wd in tries 4lo...I push 4wd in go into 2wd sometimes..


I read the TSBs and they should for an '01 to place the switch module #15709327 but i pulled the dash switch on my truck and it lists 15063844...is there an update or do I have something else messed up.?

There are about three different type of button controls. Use the part number on the old unit. I thought mine went out but was the motor on the transfer case. I was stuck in four wheel drive for 200 miles beacuse the motor went bad and the lights on the 4x4 module next to the vent stopped lighting up/stopped functioning when the motor went bad. It cost about $600 to fix the motor on the transfer case witch controls the swifting of the 4LO, 4HI and 2 HI.
