I need some help. I am currently trying to change the batteries in my truck and I have both negative terminals loose and one positive terminal loose. The positive terminal on the drivers side battery is severely stripped! No wrench, pliars, or vice grips are working. Can anyone please give me any ideas on how to get it out????

I'll add that the terminal that is now stripped is one I replaced about two months back because the original one had been severely corroded by the dreaded leaky positive terminal. Could the leaky terminal have it "welded" in place?

I'd try a small pipe wrench maybe a 10" one would maybe get that out. I've used this on stripped bot heads and studs. Good luck, let us know if you get her.

I finally got it off with vice grips. I guess I just wasn't p'd off enough to begin with and wasn't putting a good enough grip on it.
