Just finished the install for the Delphi SkyFi XM radio...I have to say XM is so much more clear than the FM RDS radio that came in the truck! Seems that the RDS radios have very little FM sensitivity. I highly recommend the SkyFi, especially since you can move it from vehicle to vehicle or into the house.

One note I forgot to add:


I did not use the "included" XM antenna. I bought the small XM antenna with the "rubber" feet. It seems to sit on the front edge of the cab much better than the included XM antenna.

Chris, Who is the manufacturer of the rubber footed XM antenna ? I also just got my XM Delphi unit. I bought the custom mount from Pro Fit for the Receiver but wanted a better antenna when I install in truck.

Any pictures of your install? I've been vacillating on what type of XM radio to install (if any) in my truck. I have a factory install in my 04 Impala and the family really likes it. If I'm going to pay for another subsription it would be nice to have a SkyFy that could be used out side the truck. Any reason you didn't go with the XM RoadyII?
