What will I loose if I disconnect a battery? Will all of the DIC info (settings, trip, MPG, etc) stay in non-volatle memory, or will it be lost like radio settings usually are?Edited by: Cougar281

I have disconnected the battery on my truck once and did not notice any adverse affects. As far as I can remember the info on the DIC remained the same, just had to fix the clock on the radio..

I have disconnected the batteries several times and have not even lost the clock. You might want to look at this also.

I don't think I need to go that far, as I am just disconnecting one to replace the bolts with ones with accessory screws...
