How well does the Allison stay cool during normal driving and some heavy right foot action? I don't see too much talk about people putting in aftermarket trans cooler like I do on the 1/2 ton forums.
Reason I ask is because I have a B&M cooler that I never got around to putting on my old truck and was debating on whether or not I should keep it or sell it?

Your kidding right. Do a search for Mike L Cooler and you will find your answer.

Check the size of the tubes in the B&M cooler. Our lines in the Alli are 5/8 and necking it down will severely restrict cooler flow. Even if the cooler has a fan mounted it will not help because the flow is not there.
