If I load the level 2 tune and let the tranny learn it in normal drive mode , will I also have to put it in Tow / haul mode and let it learn that also?

I want to run the level 2 tune all the time but want to use the T/H mode everytime I tow....... does the tranny have to learn the same tune in both modes?
Thanks.

Ahhhhh , so my next question is ....... do I put it in T/H mode and drive around with the trailer attached for it to learn or just drive it in T/H mode unloaded?
Fun , isn't it? :D
Thanks.

By re setting the " Taps " you mean that everytime I load a new tune, I will have to drive the truck around for a while before it learns the tune and re programs itself ..... right?

Yep, SC states 25 miles or so of varied driving. It is the Allison that is doing the relearning BTW. No WOT until after the relearn period. Every change of the setting, even back to stock requires the Allison do a relearn (resets its memory). All programmers do this, hence why programming "on the fly" doesn't work.

Search and read Ron's posts under the name of "Superchips Tuner", and he tells the in's and out's of how it all works.
