Well I installed my Mag Hytec this weekend.
Here is the fix for the E-Brake cable bracket......http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif
This is the Differential open with the cover mounting face cleaned.
I used a 3M fiber wheel mounted on a die grinder at a slow speed.
I also covered the gear assembly with saran wrap and then old newspapers to keep the differential clean.

After I got the surface area clean I then used brake clean to blow anything out of the differential that may have gotten into it. I then used about 25-30 psi of compressed air to dry it out before the new cover went on.

This is the full bracket before I modified it. When the Mag Hytec Cover is added the center to bolt is absent, so then the bracket does not catch the metal sleeve of the E-Brake cable properly.

This is where you need to cut the bracket into two pieces.

This is the finished bracket after cutting in half and before final filing for the rounded edges.
