Searched the forums and couldn't find anything on these tires. Anybody had any experience with the D ick Cepek Radial F-C II tires. I want to get 285/75 R-16 mounted on the AE 1372 style wheel for my '05'. If anyone has anything to add, good or bad, please do so. Thanks.

I too was looking into the same tires but in a 265 configuration. I like the tread pattern, but have heard that like the Mickey Thomson Brand tires, they aren't know for getting much mileage out of them. Might be a consideration to think about. :grd:

I got great mileage on my ZR2, and I love these tires!

If you read 4wheel off road magazine they use these alot on the staff trucks. I have seen them alot on Trucks also. I had the MT Baja ATZ's on my Titan, although only for 4000 miles before totalling the truck. One thing to keep in mind, they are heavy tires and take some care to balance.

I am getting these tires in a 33x12.50-17 soon to go on my new wheels. Some of my friends have them now and they have been very pleased with them. They seem to wear like iron, balance well and have little road noise. Im very displeased with the BFG AT's I bought last time I might see 25k out of them. Thats only one year of driving for me-:t

i have had 5 sets of the cepeks best all around tire period.you will get 50,000 plus miles or more very little noise and balance well.the only problem is they are shorter than what there specs show.

Your ZR2 is a lot lighter than the Silverado. My work truck is a ZR2 and tires typically last around 70,000 miles, but in proportion, there's a whole lot of rubber for the weight of the truck. From what folks here are reporting, I would expect 15,000 to 20,000 less miles on a 2500 or 3500.

I got 40k on my first BFG a/t's, 30k on my Cepek MC II's, 40k again on BFG's and was at 45k with 7/16ths tread left when I traded. I know the Silverado is much heavier, but I did alot of off roading with the ZR2. I got 27k from the Wranglers on the Titan, and was looking forward to wearing out the MT ATZ's on the Titan. I hope only about 30k on these Michelins, then I will be wearing FC's.

So far, so good. Love the ride, but can't say for mileage......still too new. nice little hummmm but not too loud. Aggressive looks, I think. Wish this picture was taken on a brighter day, but......

Wow, you made the sun come up, in the past. *Bows*

lol Thanks, much easier to see.

And thanks, CAP, actually, those are 265/16. Wanted 285's really bad, but wanted more stability when towing the camper. ( Which is very seldom, so I may opt for the larger ones next go 'round)

Oh, and they ride much nicer than the stock pizza cutters.

I got them in 35's love the tires, with proper balance/rotation you'll get good mileage out of them. Here is a pic there's more in my garage
