Don't do it. You can overboost and/or blow the turbo.

Thats because an EZ by itself probably won't make over 28-30psi. He is safe.

In Edge's kit they supply a boost elbow to restrict air flow to the wastegate. Use it. It still allows the wastegate to function but it will not open until higher boost levels. I think you have an HX 35 turbo on your truck, so ideally you don't want to go above 34-35psi. Once you go above this boost level the turbo will be heating the air too much, actually slightly reducing power.

BTW do you have gauges? EGT's can get hot with the comp box.Edited by: Big P

My buddy has a 2001 Dodge with an HX35 and installed the elbow that comes with the Edge Comp, he is pushing around 40 lbs. of boost. He hasn't had a problem yet.

Plug the wastegate, i'm running 65 lbs. of boost and you won't see a wastegate on my turbo. Wait a minute that was the first turbo.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/HiHi.gif

Seriously I would get the elbow from Edge and let er' rip.
