Does anyone have a Westin Bull Bar on their Chevrolet truck? I want to get a feel for how it looks on a Chevy. I like them on the GMC's.
Thanks in advance,
Dan

My plate is drilled into the front of the bar. I hated to do it but I dont need to get pulled over for something stupid.

So if you need to get pulled out, were do you attach a tow strap to? since the hooks had to be removed.

You dont. Unless you want to get longer bolts to mount your tow hooks as well...

So call me crazy but When I looked at the bull bars I though that they would offer some protection agains small animal impact but witht he small mounts they have they would likly just fold up and impact the grill. Is this not the intent of these units rathern than someplac to hang your fog lights?
Thanks

Here's the Westin Bull Bar I have and no I wouldn't recommend it if your looking for protection more than looks I imagine it would save your radiator, but not any body panels.

I Have The Smitty Built Predator Bumper Guard On My Truck...i Had A Bull Bar On My Old Truck And As Someone Pointed Out It Is A Pita If You Get Stuck...no Where To Pull From The Front...the Predator Bar Allows You To Keep The Front Tow Hooks...and Imo Is A Lil More Stout Then A Bull Bar As Far As Offering Front End Protection Against Small Animals....but Seriously...if You Looking For Front End Protection From A Bolt-on Part...your Looking In The Wrong Place...go With A Road Armour Front Bumper...you Could Drive Through A Pile Of Deer And Not Even Get A Dent...

Can this actually be done?

Absolutely. Just need longer bolts like I said.

I don't see how longer bolts could make the tow hooks work.
Could I see a picture. I had to make brackets for mine. Other pictures are in my garage.
