: New Setup For Dmaxdog
TrailerproPop 09-27-2006, 08:32 AM Dmaxdog's beautiful, white 05 cc pulling truck will now be hauled to pulls on a gooseneck flatbed. The thing has become so powerfull, I guess it just doesn't like to run down the road anymore.
I think he paid for it with winnings from beating our truck.
Please do not mention the phrase "TRAILER QUEEN' , he seems very sensitive about this. It does look good on the trailer however. :) :)
dmax_01 09-27-2006, 09:34 AM Except for bunker hill where they have to be drove! Unless matt is not going to pull there anymore.
hdmax 09-27-2006, 09:52 AM Except for bunker hill where they have to be drove! Unless matt is not going to pull there anymore.
I have seen the local Kroger store parking lot filled with truck/trailer at truck pulls that require the pulling truck be drove to the pull. So there are easy ways around that rule:(

He can walk to Bunker Hill from his house, its that close.;) ;)

My first thought is everyone should have 2 or 3 trailers, but thats not realistic.
We haul to some of the pulls that are a long way from home or if we have pulls on back to back days. Matt twisted a driveshaft at Terre Haute, that got him thinking.
maxxis_mudder 09-27-2006, 11:24 AM There is nothing wrong with hauling your baby in. If it breaks, I would like a way home.
JOHNBOY 09-27-2006, 11:28 AM I have two trailers but need more truck. My 95 K2500 350 with 235k miles on the Odo will not like towing around the big truck! Hopefully this spring we will get the wife her own;) Dmax. I can see Matt's thinking after Scheids destruction and the wild ride at Canfeild.
bogger 09-27-2006, 12:16 PM I joined the trailer queen scene last weekend cuz i couldn't turn the big 33x12.50's. Forgive me cuz i was towed by a 04 H.O. cummins longbed crewcab. Gotta admit with the six speed and 4.10 gears that thing towed like a bear and rode good, plus I didn't have to f...with my truck at the pull. I'll do it again next year for sure.
Blitz636 09-27-2006, 12:22 PM Anybody have pics of Dmaxdogs new rig?
nwpadmax 09-27-2006, 12:53 PM My first thought is everyone should have 2 or 3 trailers...

Pops, you should have your ID changed to TrailerProPimp :pimp:
Get us all on easy credit terms for 2-3 trailers each and you can walk around at the pulls telling us who's gonna take a dive at 275' ):h like the Godfather ):h
TrailerproPop 09-27-2006, 01:44 PM Yeah.....rrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iight ):h

06SIXSPEEDMANUAL 09-28-2006, 08:28 AM I have to wait till next fall to join the trailer queen club. The lease on the wife's car is up and she's got her eyes on a cc/sb Duramax!
JOHNBOY 09-28-2006, 09:14 AM Does Matt's new setup come with one of those spiffy stickers for his back window? ;) I should hopefully be seeing the new setup this weekend.
05Smoker 09-28-2006, 09:50 AM We have been trailering more ourselves now as well. Makes too much sense. It's also good knowing if I break, he can hook to the trailer to get us home. Might be a little more cramped though.

I met Matt at Terre Haute. I offered to tow him back to the hotel after the pull if he didn't get it fixed. That would really confuse people if I towed him back. All the drunks leaving there would really be seeing double:D .
lawnboy01 09-28-2006, 02:09 PM My old girl has to do the towing to the pulls. I will be towing to Millersburg and the Charity pull. With my new shoes on it, I can't turn worth a hoot.
nwpadmax 09-28-2006, 03:35 PM What new shoes didja git LB?
dmaxdog 10-02-2006, 04:00 PM So Pops, where's the picture? I know you snuck one in the other day. I don't think the queen likes your trailer. She seemed to be the joker this weekend in Ky. Please take your spell off of me you voodoo trailer pimp man):h .
nwpadmax 10-02-2006, 04:17 PM Well it looks like we finally pulled out the right pin on your truck, Matt....
Smoooooooooooooooothhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.........:D

I think TrailerproPIMP needs to teach us how to pick our numbers. He picked great ones both days. :) I think he was flirting with the sign up lady.
trailerpro 10-03-2006, 01:25 PM Here's the best photo we've got. Dmaxdog on the left and us on the right. This was loaded up and leaving for Shelbyville Saturday morning.
lawnboy01 10-03-2006, 04:59 PM What new shoes didja git LB?
I've been at the beach since friday. 85deg. Sunny, lots of naps, ect. I'm going to try 35 Mickey thopmson claws. Should be able to break something. Got some cutting to do Satuday when I get home.
nwpadmax 10-04-2006, 12:06 AM Cool, LB, but where are you allowed to run cuts? RWYB?

No, I have to cut the bumper and fenders so I can turn. they are off my gas truck and on 10" wide wheels.
