Hey guys,


I finally got my Edge module right and mounted properly and thought I went to take it for a test run. On the 3rd level setting on flat ground EGT's got up to around 1,000 or so. I understood this to be normal. So, I bumped it up to level 5 and locked out O/D and from a dead stop I left at about 2,000 rpm or so and it spun thru 2nd and then just power shut off. It's stuck in 2nd or 3rd gear and wont come out. I left the batteries unhooked for about 5 minutes and that didnt help. The check engine sign is on. Did my tranny limp? I need to know how to get it out because I gotta drive this thing tonight. Also, I have the hypertech out of the truck but can it clear it?

I never got to that stage but If I remember right, after 5 starts or so it goes away. You might try a search in this forum and I'm sure it will come up.

Just shut it off for about 5 mins ... It will come out of limp mode but it will take a few ignition on and off cycles to clear MIL ..
