Does anyone know if the wiring harness in the door is pre-wired for power mirrors even if you have manual side mirrors? I'd like to swap out my manual trailer side mirrors for a set of electric non-trailer mirrors and was wondering if I could do it by just plug and play, with a door switch install of course. Thanks in advance.

Assuming you are talking about 03 or 04 and you have power windows and locks yes they would plug in. I would assume that if you don't have power mirrors you likely don't have power windows and locks either.

Max,

I have an '02 3500 LT with power everything, except mirrors...They are manual extendable camping mirrors.

I want to eventually add power mirrors too, and was wondering the same thing; Is the wiring in the door for power mirrors?

Max Power, I have an 01 with pwr windows and locks but manual trailer mirrors. Just wanted to know if the harness in the door is pre-wired for power mirrors even if the truck doesn't have them as an option. Like maybe they use the same harness in all trucks. Unless my truck had power mirrors and the previous owner swapped them for manual trailer mirrors. I know the previous owner towed with the truck. Just don't know what he towed.
