Anyone know why on some 01's the eng. temp works on the juice and on some they don't? Is there a fix?

Are you talking engine temp or egts???? If its engine temp, could be the module, if its egt could be the module or probe http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gif

Eng. temp.. The Owners manuel that comes with the Attitude say "Engine temp. may not work on all 2001 models" I did a search to see if I could find anything on this but didn't come up with anything. I was wondering if this has been discused of if anyone knew why.
