Took my truck in to the dealer today. I installed a set of OEM fog lights & needed them to turn them on. Well I thought that while its there I would have all the computers upgraded. Well I got it back and the fog lights work but the fob's don't. So Monday I have to take it back to have it reprogramed. I think what has happened is the security system was not turned back on, cus in the information center it usta say security when I would shut the motor off. Now it don't.
Any feedback that I could give to the dealer would be appreciated.

Check the DO IT YERSELF section - there's a method in there to reprogram the key fobs to your truck.

That is the first thing the service guy tried and it didn't work. He put a computer (tech 12, or something like that) on the OBD and he said that it is acknowledging the fob's they JUST DON'T WORK.
