I don't think I could stand to drive that slowly for that long. :D

I just did a 348 mile trip at 70 mph averaging 18.54 mpg.

What speed were you cruising at?

Just finished a 178 mile stretch in Florida running between 55-60mph on the back roads (US301 & 441). Hand calculated 20.07 mpg. Woohoo! Much faster than that and mileage drops like a rock.

If you went to a biker rally, why didn't you just ride the bike that few miles??

Keep it around 75 or under so it's at or below 2k rpm and it will get at least 20 on the highway.
I averaged 18.5 something this weekend driving to Venice because I was screwing with some guy in a toyota minivan the whole way down on I-75.
I had the cruise set on 74ish, he'd pass me, slow down, I'd run it up to the speed limiter, pull back in about a half mile later as he was trying to pedal faster to keep up, I'd let him go by and do the same thing all over again. After about 5-6 go-arounds, the old man was getting kind of hot. Nice having a big truck that hauls arse and gets good mileage to boot.

On flat terrain with no head wind i can attain 26mpg at 65mph. In CT i rarely see those numbers, closer to 20mpg. At 80-90 mph its not too bad averaging better than 15mpg :D

On my current tank of gas I'm averaging 63 mpg. I've only gone about 612 miles on this tank so far though.

Now if only I could get my truck to get as good of mileage as my Civic Hybrid....

Wow, another Reg Cabber? And I thought I was the only one left on this green earth that owned a non-WT Reg Cab. I'm looking at ordering an '07 LBZ Reg Cab. Just shoot me.

I gots me one too :) I tend to get 20-24 town, and 25-29 on the freeway... if I'm nice to it. Driving normal seems to get about 17. town or freeway.
