I am trying to decide what would be the best all around tire for my 2002 2500HD. That will be good for pushing snow, but still a good highway tire ( noise, ride, and durability). I need some input.

If you are going to plow check out plowsite.com. Over there you'll get a million great answers to this age old question along with other great info on plowing.

I had my stock tires siped for my winter set. It's the little cuts done on a machine. works a million times better.

I plowed for years with 285 BFG All Terrains with better traction than the sock 245 Bridgstones.

Lot's of guys go with the Copper's, Cheep and lots of happy users.

I myself love the Nokian's, Hands down the best winter tire I ever used. But they are not cheep.

Let me second the Nokian Vatiiva tires best winter tire that I ever had. Get them at your Cooper tire dealer.

For an all around tire winter/summer you can't beat the BFG AT's.

Goodyear ATS's if you can find them--on a steep hill with a sealed blacktop surface under me and with my 9.2 Boss plow in the V mode with snow up to the top from a dead stop,I was able to start off without spinning any of my 6 tires. That alone speaks volumes.:grd:
