I am in the process of adding brakes to my utility trailer. I have read some of the posts about connecting the controller into the wiring on the truck. I have an ’01 Silverado with the towing package. I located the connector panel under the dash. What I need to know is which connector do I plug the brake controller into? The label on the back of the connector panel does not correspond to the lay out of the actual panel. One of the connector designations captioned on the diagram says “Trailer 6-Way BRN”. I assume that is the brake controller connection point. Could someone please point out which connector on the picture is the correct one? Just want to be sure.

Top left 2nd one in from the left. Right above the two oranage wires. You can't plug it into the wrong one because it has tabs to make sure it only goes in the right one.Edited by: Max Power
