Anyone have any Goodyear MTRs on a 2500 crew cab? I was curious as to the ride of the tires and also how well they did on snow and ice. I am planning to purchase some tires but don't know if the Goodyear MTR will perform good as a snow tire.

I had them on my F350 and they were awesome as a snow tire. great in mud or anywere offroad.I got 33000 miles out of them. You need to rotate every 3 to 5k miles. They are quite a bit louder than a stock tire and they dont handle as well, they tend to wander a little. thet are also decent in rain.

awsome snow tire, good to above average all around tire, diffently noisier than average and maybe a slight vibration due to the aggresive tread but overall a really awsome tire, I have had two sets (305/70/16 & 285/75/16) and may buy another set.

I was told to expect a drop in miles per gallon because of the tread on the tire.

i Have Them On My 05 And Lets Say They Rate On A Scale Of 1-10....... About A 8 Overall !

i Have Had Several Sets Of Good Name Brand Tires On My 03 And 05 And I Still Have The Mtr's On !!

biggest Downfall : Noisy & They Are Rock Throwers !!

best Part : I Do Snow Plowing , And I Love Them For The Winter !!

thats My .02 Cents On The Goodyear Wrangler Mtr .... :)

i have also looked into buying a set of these. everyone i have spoke with claims about 30k miles and then your ready for a new set. they are fairly expensive and dont get good mileage outta them is what turned me off. but they sure do look bad ***!!!

I have them on my 95 Tahoe, 33x12.50, they are the best in the sand. Never had a better tire. Downside as stated above, loud, (Which I like), they vibrate and wander(Oh well, it a 4x4) and throw rocks, (Look out) They dont get really great overall mileage, but they LOOK COOL!

yeah ecspecially on heavier trucks like ours they wear like crap. my bfg's are wearing like iron but I also rotate them religiously.

goodyear Wrangler Mtr :
i Have Had Good Luck With Tire Wear ..... With Rotation, I Have Approx. 25,000 Miles On Them And They Are 75% Tread Life Left...

i Like Them Alot , My Biggest Complaint Is Noise. Other Than That I Like Them Alot.

My .02 Cents Thanks :)
