I dunno about you guys but I just read about the new oil thats coming out in Diesel Power. Should be widely available by the time ULSD is. Sounds like it's surpasing normal oil by a lot. Looked for it in autozone (bottle lable ROTELLA T CI-4 PLUS), but no luck finding it. Can't wait 'till my next oil change, I just hope my dealer will have it by then.

Just read the article in Diesel Power about low ash oil and it won't be out until I think they said 1/1/07 . It sounds like good stuff, the ULSD on the other hand doesn't sound cool:(

I've been buying Rotella T with an API rating of CI-4+ since I got my truck this spring. Did you mean the new CJ-4 rating instead?

think its coming out next month in qts/gls(already in barrels), due to emissions, to have available. sounds better than what i had heard before about the low ash oils(more wear).

How much more will it cost per gallon/quart?

They claim about 10 to 15% more.

I have a lot of friends that use low-ash oil in there I-H tractors. They buy it at their I-H dealers and it has been available for many years. That is in the 30-weight grade so I dont know what all grades are available.
