Which will save me more money? GMS or the Loyalty discount..

IIRC you should be able to get both loyalty cash and the GMS price when you use the coupon and purchase a vehicle. I did the coupon and got a nice discount and then I also got loyalty cash from trading in my Hummer on the GMC I purchased. May want to ask Howard or Dmax Tim...Hopefully they will chime in on this.

I noted some fine print on one of the new TV commercials saying discounts were not available with GMS pricing...


The commercial wasn't for pickups so I wasn't paying real close attention, but it was there. Maybe GM's changing their strategy on some of these discounts?

One of those commercials was for Envoy.


I don't know what the new discounts are, and the website isn't showing loyalty $$.


Best to talk to dealer and see what is going on.

Additional 1000.00? On what? My total rebate is 4000.00 which I believe is the loyalty rebate.Is there anything else?

The GM Loyality dollars can not be used with GM employee or supplier price. I know because I tried when I got my new 04 last week. It also says that on the GM loyality coupon if you read the fine print. The GM supplier disount was better than the GM loyality discount for me.

My local dealer is selling at supplier price and with loyality discount but only because he wants too. Coupon definitely says he doesn't have to.

GMS is the lowest possible price GM will sell a vehicle for. You are able to deduct any loyalty cash, rebates, incentivies, bonus cash or whatever off of the GMS price. I have always bought cars this way. You are also entitled to see the invoice produced by GM which has the GMS price printed on it. ALWAYS ask for it!!!

GM Loyalty can not be combined with any other incentive. It say it right on the coupon and web site.
