The Dmax has been idling funnyhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Angry.gif for a couple weeks (surging idle). Thought it may just be the the HJ, as I've had the "no start" problem. Took the HJ off last night to send it in to Edge for an update, and the surge at idle is still there.

Took the Dmax to the dealer this morning and asked them to diagnose. Hadn't heard anything all day, so I called them, and they're in the process of replacing the Fuel Pressure Regulator. Luckily it's under warrantyhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Clap.gif (as they didn't call before starting to replace it).

Going to pick it up a little later and hopefully problem solved, if nothttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gif. So if you've got the "surge", have 'em check the FPR (I'm sure someone else has already covered this).

The gas engines have those as well. It is common for them to leak and cause performance issues. Hope it is running better for you when you pick it up...
