mmcfd64 09-22-2006, 05:19 PM I made the mistake of letting my pace edwards tooltop (toolbox) and jackrabbit go with my old truck. After the fact I find out PE discontinued the tooltop box. You can pick any toolbox you want and get the Retrax made to fit with the toolbox. Plus a Retrax works 1000 times nicer then the pace edwards. mmcfd64 09-23-2006, 07:44 AM that would work. Do I go direct with retrax? Max Power 09-23-2006, 10:22 AM You can go direct or you can buy from anyone that sells retrax. You might as well go and buy a toolbox that you like. It's better to have the handels on the side of the box rather then the rear of the box. You will need to measure the distance from the toolbox to the inside of the tailgate. They will then custom make your cover to work with the toolbox. It will take a few weeks. They will provide you with an angle iron to bolt to the rear of the toolbox to act like the front of the box if that make sense. Then you install the retrax like you would in a normal truck but it will be a bit shorter. mmcfd64 09-24-2006, 08:01 AM how much space does the canister take up behind the toolbox?
