I am new to the forum and have been reading about some of modifications that can be done to the 6.5's to improve drivability. I am suprised to read about straight piping. Do mean to say that you can run a 3" or 4" straight pipe from the turbo back and it will run and sound OK. Won't it be earth shaking loud?

I was considering buying this mod kit (see link), I am from Canada. But a straight pipe has to be cheaper and cleaner.

That's right, straight and clean, cost effective and not earth shakingly loud.

The turbo eats most of the audible exhaust sound - that's what gives you mo' powerhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Wink.gif

Something is wrong with the link. It takes me to posts about checking VIN's (interesting post though).
