Just wondering what you guys are doing to check your oil to make sure it's accurate. The book is vague and not sure if it's even referring to a Duramax with the 6-speed Allison. I have an 06 GMD 2500 Duramax/Allison 6-speed. What should I do? Been getting it nice and warm, forward and backwards then in park running to check it. I know a lot of other trannies call for it to be in nuetral.
