I need the help of all you experts. I installed the over drive lock out switch per instructions on Kennedy's web site. I'm having a problem. I installed the momentary switch and LED. I also have the correct TCM version (3/24/02). When I'm stopped, I can engage and disengage the ODLO. As soon as the wheels start moving I can't change the setting. If the ODLO is engaged, I can't disengage it while moving. If it is not engaged, I can't engage it while moving. I double checked the positions in the TCM wiring harness (yes, its in the C1 harness) and made sure the pins were the same length as the the rest of them.
Anyone have any suggestions? I NEED HELP!
Thanks.

where are you getting 12V switched power from?

I agree with mtomac ....
Sounds like your not getting consistant 12 volt source ...

MTOMAC,
I previously installed a fuse block with a relay from an ignition circuit for on-board air compressor for my air bags. The fuse block's power comes directly from the red battery connector terminal, with an inline fuse. When the key is on, I get power to the fuse block, otherwise there is no power there. I just added a wire for the LED to a spade on the fuse block.
When I'm stopped, each time I press the momentary switch , the LED changes (either goes on or goes off). While I'm moving, I can't engage or disengage overdrive; ie if I stop, engage the ODLO, then I can't disengage it when I'm driving. Likewise I can't engage it when I'm driving. The LED is consistent with the ODLO; when its engaged, the LED is on. When its not engaged, the LED is off.
Thanks for the reply.
P.S. I hear that you are doing quite well at the dragstrip. Would you be willing and have time to discuss moderate transmission upgrades offline?

My guess is your going to have to go back and retrace your install from the TCM back ... Ensure you have the proper pin location and try a new switch .....
Can't see it being anything else ...
