Are there any disadvantages to the dual alternators? or any other options that are not worth ordering on a new D/A?

I had to drop both to get a truck by October or possibly Sept. Dealer agreed to sell me parts to install dual alt at cost and put it on at cost. For a sunroof, I just order a 2007 in the summer of 2006 with it and the new 6 speed allison as the 2005 will be worn out by then anyway. Not engine or trans, but chassis, etc. | ||
