<DIV>So here I am in beautiful Nebraska (well I guess that depends on your point of view!) and I want to put a pre OEM fuel filter on the 3500 D/A.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>It's been suggested that I put one that has heat to it. </DIV>
<DIV>This of course would make it a bit more difficult to install as I would have to run wiring for it,not too much of a deal but if I don't need it why bother.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>So my question for all that know more than I, is this---is putting a filter on with heat necessary or would it matter that much? </DIV>
<DIV>What do you guys that really live in the cold do? Except head South for the winter?</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Thanks allhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Geek.gif</DIV>

If your concerned with running a fuel heater I would just go with the Racor sold by Gregg @ http://www.lubespecialist.com/ if I recall it's plug and play off the OE ....

Some Tie wraps and call it a day ...

In the Warm NorthEast I haven't had a problem lighting up the Max with a Nicktane setup .... Prolly only got to 10 below tho ....
