First time to post, I would like to thank all of you for the valuable info on this forum. I've had my truck 10 months with 9501 miles. I just got a call from the dealer that the injectors are out of spec and he will be replacing all 8 next week while I'm out of town. If not for the info on this site I would not have known where to steer him. The truck was down on power and had 11.6 Mpg around town and oil level was on a steady rise. Anything I should look out for when I pick up my truck after the repair? I know one of the owners of the dealership so I think that helps. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks again,
Samalbi

Let me be the first to welcome you to the forum. we're glad you have found the information provided here useful!
As for what to check for whe you get it back- consistant oil level, time it takes to start, how it smokes during various load conditions, mileage, and power output. you're basically looks for a trend. once things deviate from that you start looking for potential problems. also you might want to run an oil analysis after you get the truck back for the first couple of changes to check for fuel dillution. George Morrison of www.avlube.com (http://www.avlube.com) has done many of those for members here, myself inlcuded and its nice info to have. bear in mind with your motor being so new things may take time to stabilize as far as wear metals go.
Good luck!

Samalbi,
Get your truck back yet? Chevy or GMC? The chevy dealer in SM looks like he has a very large, and busy, service department.
