I think the only thing I will envy is their new interior in the top of the line models.
IMO my 06 LT3 fully loaded interior is still way outdated and too work truck like.

they look pretty sweet. ford has imo the best looking trucks out there, so its not like they copied dodge.

I'll wait for real life to judge, but I like my '06. It does look like the tires might be bigger than the little 245's ----that's almost worth waiting for an '07.

The superdutys front end and hood are nice, but the cab is too boxy and tall, and those slant down side windows are ugly, too. Gm might have tailored the best of both together.

I still can't stand that UGLY chevy grill, especially from a side view.

From those pics its looks like you can confirm the angled mirrors are a thing of the past. I personally like the look, i think it compliments the angled headlights. With those new headlights looking like something form a cadillac though, angles are not its new style. I'm not a fan yet, but i know i will own one down the line. :rolleyes:

Ya the mirrors look good. I still can't see how that crap passed on to production . How can you miss that? The mirrors on 05-06 etc look really retarded angled up.

I like the GMC's look better than the Chevy. I won't make a decision until I see them in person, but it looks like the GMC is going to be in my future.

I consider myself having a 05 that has the fan running at 65 degrees outside and can't see north of 8mph. I've never owned anything other than GM products my whole life, they better not screw this one up...

man, im really suprised by the reaction here. personally i LOVE the new look and cant wait to upgrade to a GMC dmax hopefully next summer. for those complaining about the ford, my first impression was that i see some F250 styling in there but thats a GOOD thing. ive been a chevy man my whole life but the #1 thing i hate is how pu$$y their HDs look. they look exactly the same as the 1500. what the heck?? the F250 has always looked bigger and badder than the 2500HD. GM has always had ford beat with the interior but ford had a leg up on the exterior........until now!

personally i was scared of what the next generation truck was gonna look like b/c chevy has been going downhill with each style change since the late 90s. i was afraid it was gonna be a sissy looking rounded front like the toyota or nissan. im glad they stepped up and made the truck more manly!!

ya I agree, I couldnt stand my 99 1500. That grill was ugly as heck. On the current body style I think the GMC one is better. I still like my Silverady body though. One thing I've always liked is that chevy kept a boxy looking truck. I don't really like all the roundness of the dodges or Fords.

The new 2007 GM Trucks are Amazing.

They brought back the TOUGH BOXY BOLD look that they have needed for Sooooooo long. Since the last year of the squared 1998 chevy and GMC with the box shape, GM really needed to bring a tough box shape back on their pickups.

They hit this design RIGHT ON with the NEW BODY 2007 with a mix of a BOLD Boxy look while still maintaining class and SMOOTH body lines.

from a guy that used to drive a 1500 hd, and now drives a ford 6.0, i have to give it to gm. the new trucks look sharp. looks like ride height has been raised as well. on the other hand, the new 08 superduty looks awful. looks like the family truckster from vacation. glad i bought an 06.

I do not think the GMC looks like a furd. I do not understand you guys, first you complain Chevy, GMC does not have a BOLD enough of a GRILL like furd and dodge, then when GM gives it to you, you complain.

I tried to sneak a pic of it but they had the freaking secret service walking around it like wolves LOL . It did have a trick looking tip that flared out like a bazooka and took air in from the sides. The GMC looks real nice too .
They say the compression will be lower and will have 20# of boost and a varible vein ?? turbo 7.0 injectors or something like that . Stronger webbing in the lower block etc. FYI the new Advertising is realy cool too , pretty much ready to stick it to Toyota LOL.
The Interior is real nice and very comfortable , Oh and the Camaro is kick aZZ. Cant wait
