I am a first time owner of a diesel truck, its a 1998 chevy Tahoe with the 6.5 turbo diesel. It have high milage (170,000) runs great, no major oil leak just some sweating by the rear main seal. The previous owner had installed a 3.5" straight exhaust pipe system, will that be able to pass the NJ emissions test?
I will be adding an under the hood belt driven generator to the truck (4 KW), can anyone suggest the best place to install the additional pully and also where can I get a pully that will adapt to it, or is it possible to get a longer belt and do without an additional pully.
