I just got a new 2006 CCSB, How do I tell what engine I have?

Do u mean LLY or LBZ?? Look at your VIN. If the 8th digit is a 2, it's an LLY. If a "D", it's an LBZ.

The window sticker will say 6.6L 360 hp/650 lb.ft of TQ if its a LBZ.

the easiest and quickest way to tell is on all the LBZ's where it has the allison trans. sign on the outside of the truck it will have blue writing on the lly's it is black..... :ro)

It says Duramax and Allison in blue and red if its an LBZ.
It says only Duramax in black if its LLY:grd:

My emblem the "DURAMAX " is black and the "ALLISON" Is blue and i have the LBZ.

Ya just look on airbox. It'll say 360hp. Or just look for the "D" in the VIN on 8th character.
