I have a question (well 2) for the Beta testers regarding the soon to be released Edge for the LBZ. I am reading that the Edge is not able to raise max speed from 94 or so and also adjust for larger tires. Is this correct? I was waiting to get the Edge but am going to put 285/75/16 tires on the truck from the get go, and would also be concerned that at only 94mph it will hamper my 1/4 runs. (1)Are you guys running larger tires having any concerns or second thoughts about the Edge not adjusting your speedometer? (2) Does the 94 mph cut off effect your 1/4 mile runs? Thanks for any insight on this!! I am back and forth between the Power Pup and Edge.

1) you can adjust the speed display on the edge so youll know how fast youre going but the factory speedo will remain off.
2) yes it does in the upper levels.

The new edge evolution model will be able to do both for you & it will be upgradeable though a internet download. I do not think that will be out till nov. The edge juice will not be able to do the two things you want.
The bad thing about the evolution is, you will not be able to adjust on the fly.
I hate to be a retard but can you tell me what the difference is between the Edge Juice and the Edge Evolution is ? And which one is out on the Beta testing right now? Thanks!

I stacked my Predator (which I like better than my Power Pup, by the way) and just modified my stock programming to take off the governer and adjust my tire size and then matched it with GPS so the Edge is right on now because it is getting the predator tuned speedo correction, that is long winded but I like my real speedo to be correct as well as have the governer off.
If you want the governer off go with BD or Diablo (or other programmers) but the in-cab adjustability of the Edge is hard to beat.
