I have a stock radio in my truck.
This radio has a CD/AUX button. Is there actually an auxilliary input on the back of this radio, or somewhere in the truck? I haven't had it out. I wondered if someone who's taken one out knows the answer...

Sort of. You'll need one of these http://www.jpcustoms.com/store/customer/product.php?productid=16235&cat=306&page=1

I have an alpine IVA-D900 in dash dvd player that I'm getting mounted in lowest cuby hole because I wanted to keep the factory cd player since it is 6 disk and has xm tied into it and all that stuff. Went to the installer and they ordered somethin like that, said there would be a toggle switch on it though.

3500LLY, the 03's and 04's are a lot different then the 01's and 02's. Thats why your setup would be different.

I have the same unit as Max Power posted and it works very well. It's a tight fit to get it stuffed behind the radio but it will go. It plugs in between the radio and the factory plug. Very good sound and no electrical interference.

Hey Bull,
Do you have the cassette player in the cubby or is it blank? I am interested in that unit for my wifes Yukon and if it worked OK. Thanks

JRKRACE,
No, I don't have slave cassette, just the single cd player mounted in the head unit.
Sound is just a clear as a cd playing. I use mine to connect a mp3 player.
The link below is where I got my aux input converter. It shows a similar unit that is made for a radio with a slave unit. They were very good about answering compatability questions for me before I purchased.
