While on a short trip this last weekend, I noticed my tranny shifting into 4 gear on what I would have considered smaller hills.
I actually don't know what exactly the "shift busyness" phenomena is, so I don't know if that's what I have, but this is what it does. It seems to loose about 2-3 miles per hour at almost the TOP of the hill, and then it will shift down. I swear that it KNOWS when you're at the top of the hill, and then that's when it shifts down.
It doesn't do it all the time, though, and that's what makes me wonder if getting the tranny reflashed will help.
My question is really this: If I get my tranny flashed, what should I expect? Will it do anything to my fuel economy (which already is pretty bad in my opinion), and will it solve this problem?
I really want to hear what other people's experience are after a tranny reflash...
