Hey guys!!

How often are you guys changing these out? Every 20-30K?

what are THESE?

They're a large filter, about the size of a liter bottle, like a secondary filter that fits into the left rear fender well next to the fuel tank. I just did mine this weekend. My only beef with it was when Eric and I were wrapping the hose with this twisted rubber, that was a real PITA! Gave us carpal tunnel. Check it out at http://www.nicktane.com/filter.htm

I changed mine at about 10,000 miles and it was pretty used up. I had thought I might actually be able to go closer to 15k miles, but that would have been too long. It's possible that I got some contaminated fuel, but I almost always fill at a reputable truck stop.

Here are some photos from before. I think you should change it at 15k. I have one friend who runs his to about 18k miles on a filter regularly (has almost 100k on his dmax) and it has never measured out of spec for vacuum.
