Gang,

One thing my 2500HD didn't come with that I really would like to have on it, are cab marker lights.

I've seen all the threads here regarding the Pacer 3 piece light kit. Has anyone seen the Hi-Five® Deluxe 5 Light Kit (http://kcautomotive.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=KL&Product_Code =Pac-20-105&Category_Code=PCL) from KC Lights?

They look pretty swank:

Anyway, they're available from KC Lights at this link. (http://kcautomotive.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=KL&Category_Cod e=PCL)

Anyone have any opinions on these?

Here is the description from the company: Amber 5 light kit The die cast base (not plastic or pressed metal) is triple chrome plated for long life. A special curvature on the base allows for a snug fit whether mounting on a flat or curved surface. A 1/4" sealing pad ensures there is no leakage through the mount holes. Bulbs are standard and readily available. Edited by: corona

Looks like the quality is there for sure, I run other KC lights on my truck and I'm happy with them. Personally I don't like the cosmetics of these particular marker lights, but beauty is definately in the eye of the beholder. If you like the look, I'm sure you'll be pleased with the lights.

You don’t mention what year of truck you have.

IMHO, I like to stay true to the year of the truck.

I am not at all crazy about the clearance lights that are presently put on the newer GMC/Chevy trucks but to me they would not look right without the “factory” style lights.

If you have an ’02 or newer, placing those “style” of lights will make you truck look like an older style truck.

JMHO……no flames meant

no flames taken! http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Embarrased.gif I kindof agree with you.

Sounds like the project may be on hold anyway - I just got a quote from an accessories place to install them - they want $250. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Broken Heart.gif

Anyone with experience in the south/central texas area that would be willing to install these for me? I'll provide the pizza, beer, bourbon - but $250 seemed a little steep for me.

FWIW - I've read the instructions here, but I'm too much of a novice to attempt that on my own.

Sounds pretty steep when I only paid $50 to get them as a factory option.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Approve.gif
