Guys, I have begun machining up some fuel pickups out of 6061 billet aluminum for the Dmax. They represent a more than 140% increase in fuel line area over stock. They are meant to be used with a -10 AN line. You will have to modify (mill and drill) the top of your sending unit to accept the larger hose. The cost of the pick-up is $95.00. If you want to send me your fuel sending unit I will modify it for you at an additional cost of $50.00. I can usually turn them around in one day barring earthquakes! http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif The AN fittings are available at any place that sells that type of stuff for about $35.00. The concept was proposed by Steve at TTS at the LA dyno day in Feb. There is more info available on this other thread. http://dieselplace.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=10387&PN=1&TPN=2

More pics of higher resolution are also available at the link in my sig.

Would the return fuel still return next to the pickup?

The stock OEM system returns fuel right next to the pickup. I've been struggling with what to do there. Returning fuel next to the pickup would be beneficial as the tank level gets lower and the truck is subject to different angles. Because this return fuel is pretty hot, some people have made provisions to return it to another part of the tank. Right now I'm focusing on how to get as much fuel into the pickup as possible, as soon as I'm sure I have enough quantity then I'll go for quality.

Relocating the return is definitely a good idea, BUT can ccreate some issues at lower fuel levels in this case without a sump.
