I have a 03 with remote door locks and lost the remote function on one key ring and switched to the other and now the other isn't working.......do the batteries in these make it less than two years or is something else going on here. The locks work with the key manually. Maybe if I do a burnout with it the locks with work again.

You don't have to take it to the dealer, here is the sequence.





Hold unlock switch on door in unlock position.


Turn key on, off, on, off.


Release unlock button on door.


Then hold lock & unlock buttons on remote together for approx. 15 seconds.


Then switch to other remote & do the same.





Or you may need to replace batteries.
