koopdaddy 06-12-2004, 07:23 PM What is the correct term for theblack plastic peice in front of the turbo that has 6.6L Diesel cast into it. It looks to be a baffle. Has anyone tried to remove it? It looks like it is a resonator. Probably to suppress a unpleasant whine or buzz at some speed. Jim tbone1227 06-12-2004, 08:13 PM yep, its the turbo muffler box or something close to that - on most after market air intakes its removed and replaced with a capped smaller box to make it more efficient i believe, atleast thats what i was told ? | ||
