That's going to be a tough one to answer. Most guys haven't tried them all, so the one they use is the "best" unless they are having problems with theirs. To me the Edge is the best, but my opinion is a little biased.

but is it worth the extra money it cost

I wouldn't know. I got a pretty good deal on it. The way I see it though, you would probably spend around $300-$400 on a programmer and at least $300 on guages and a pod. That's $600-$700 pretty easily. I really like the day to day drivability and all the features the attitude has. There are a couple of things it doesn't do that I wish it did (correct speedo for tires and remove governor to name a couple), but I'm really happy with it. In all honesty I'll probably end up getting another programmer to stack for a little extra kick and to take care of those two problems above, or I'll get EFI Live or HP Tuners if/when they release it for the 06 LLY/LBZ.

I have had the predator on mine since they came out, no problems at all. Except rear tire wear, that is:D

I am extremely pleased with the SuperChips FlashPaq. See the following threads for more info, including my posts on the great increase in fuel mileage, and the FlashPaq in general.

Take a look at the Hyperpac $597. delivered. I installed mine yesterday and wow what a difference. Its made primarily for towing... won't hurt the truck engine or Allsion, suppose to give better milage but realy has some power too.
On a rolling sart I can break the rear wheel lose. I bought it for towing but it is fun useing just for kicks. It definatiely is a sleeper cause it doesn/t sound any different and I don't notice any smoke at all. I'll take a short trip (couple hundred miles) this weekend and see what kind of milage I get.
