2004 2500HD Ex cab 4x4.


It happened since day. Early on it would happen every now and then. Now it's becoming more and more.


I got to start the truck and it sounds like the starter is not engaging on the ring gear. Back the key off and try again. Will start up fine. Finally to it in. I knew what the answer was going to be. We couldn't get it to do it and every thing looks fine.


Have not had any other problems starting the truck. This happens when the truck is cold and hot. No set pattern.
