Here's a little sample...these are only a few of the tables accessible...I havent done any scanning yet on duramax so I have nothing to offer in that aspect other then the screenshots of their scanner already on their site.

The tabs themselves are dynamic. If there is nothing related to what you are working on, the tab content is blank.

You can also use the navigator window to quickly see what is available to tune.

Windows does not play well with hiding form tabs..

Looks a lot like EFI. Why does it look so similar? I was expecting a completely different look.

They look & feel COMPLETELY different in actuality...they both use completely different GUI's from what I understand & each has their own standout functionality.

Obviously you need more time with HP tuners, but which are you liking, and feel is easier to use?

:muahaha:I've been using hpt for a little over 2 years now...from the days of v1.4 if i remember correctly...the program & the tuning software industry has really blown up since then. For a new tuner I think hptuners is hands down easier to use...from 2 click custom OS's to a user/eye friendly GUI with 3 different types of views from the get go its just easier to jump right in, to an extent. No matter how easy you make things sometimes people fail to read the help file which outlines everything step by step, or view the flash tutorials which also cover many points of interest, it comes down to you can lead a horse to water but you cant make him drink. The person still needs to read up on HOW to tune, WHAT to tune and when to change things and how much. We have a user help forum with 4500 members and 50000+ posts, but if someone doesnt understand something & DOESNT post its kinda hard to help them or advance the product. We have a features request section that is reviewed on a daily basis by the admins to see what can help enhance the product further. If its doable it usually gets done ;)

From what it looks like they (HP and EFI) are both very comfortable editing tools. Just look at what is available for other ECU's!! I would call them hex editors with added functionality !! All they offer is a view of the binary file and let YOU do the search for values and tables.....
