Hey all, wondering if any of yall have had experience installing a maxrad cb antenna on a newer style chevy hood. My'02 was simple fitting in the hood/fender seam, these newer ones overlap the fender. If anyone has experience with a different bracket please let me know. Thx:D

I'm not sure about the design of the Maxrad, but I have seen a few smaller antennas mounted beneath the plastic grill at the base of the windshield. They simply drill a hole for the antenna mast to stick through and the base remains hidden below the grill. Don't know if it would work for your application, but just an idea.
